If you're in Milan, you must make sure you stop here for dinner. You are away from the crowds and the bustle of the Duomo and The Galería and you greatly appreciate it!
I made the hotel book a reservation for me at 730 pm which is still quiet early for Italians to eat in Milan. But I was made to feel welcome by Alex the moment I walked in. He spoke English, Spanish and Italian.
The biggest meal to get in Milan is Veal Milanese and Risotto ! He suggested that we split the Meal down the middle for my wife and I and it was plenty of food. I also got a Caprese salad which was fresh and delicious. I still had access to Aperitivo which is basically a small buffet to start you off of cured meats and cheeses. I just stuck to my meal, salad and bread it was beyond words! So delicious, I wish I could go back right now.
The ambiance was beautiful with classic rock songs in the back being covered and made slightly lighter. The place was clean and beautiful and everyone was attentive.
At the end of the night with my meal and two glasses of wine, I spent $53 Euro and it was perfect.
Thank you Alex for a great evening ! -

Staff was great! Rainy day, cold - we were hungry after 3 hours of walking and 6 hours travel. We had to wait for cook, had a drink and waiter got us a nice appetizer to hold us over. Refreshed from that , I had ragu pasta and my husband veal stew and risotto. They were made fresh( we saw cook return and set up kitchen). It was good and inexpensive, but the staff made it by recognizing some tired tourist who just needed some warmth and a bit of food before dinner. Thanks
